This fruit, oat and seed slice makes for a great lunchbox snack or healthy dessert. Easily customise this by adding your favourite fruits, seeds or nuts to make it your own.

Serves: 12
Prep: 3-5 mins    Cook: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 3 cups oats
  • ½ cup dried fruit
  • ¼ cup seeds or nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC
  2. Line a slice tray with baking paper
  3. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients
  4. Pour into slice tray
  5. Bake for 35 mins

 

Notes

We used date, apricots and sesame seeds (pictured).

Just add fruit and seeds to keep this nut free and allergy-friendly.
