pita pizza



  • 1 packet of wholemeal pita bread
  • 1 can of tomato passata or tomato paste
  • 1 cup reduced fat grated cheese
  • 3 slices of ham (look for a nitrate-free, natural ham)
  • 1 can of pineapple, drained
  • 1 can of corn kernels, drained



  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Rip ham and slice pineapple into small pieces
  3. Spread passata/tomato paste over the pita bread base
  4. Sprinkle ham, pineapple and corn over the pizza
  5. Sprinkle cheese on top
  6. Bake for 10 mins, until edges turn crisp



You can make this with any of your favourite pizza toppings. It’s a quick and easy alternative to regular dough based pizza.
