asparagus with crumbs

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches asparagus
  • 2 pieces of multigrain bread
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • fresh chili to taste

Directions

  1. Break end of the stems off asparagus
  2. Steam asparagus for 5 minutes
  3. Toast bread
  4. Blend toast in food processor with a little fresh chili (to taste)
  5. On medium heat, fry crumbs for a couple of minutes
  6. Add grated cheese and cook for one more minute
  7. Serve crumb over steamed asparagus

    Notes

If you don’t have a food processor, then use store bought bread crumbs and skip steps 3 and 4
